Wall Sculpture - A1149

bigleaf maple burl, lapis blue avonite, metal, 28 1/2" x 35" x 2"

This Wall Sculpture was made from Maple Burl that Dennis bleached. It has a lapis blue avonite center and a pewter ring which was molten, then Dennis poured the molten pewter into a dovetail groove. After the pewter hardened it was turned on the lathe.
